DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR GOTHENBURG PAIR The teams from Division one met in The Gothenburg to contest this division one Pairs event. The format was two legs singles 501 and if required one leg doubles 701.There were 31 pairs entered and it was the Gothenburg duo of Don Haughton and Stevie Plank who went all the way to lift the JJ Hamilton Memorial Shield when they defeated the Cross Keys pair of Kevin Aitcheson and Willie Sharp by two legs to one in the final.
The results from the quarter Finals were as follows. ALLAN BRIDGE WIN ZODIE FOURS The teams from division two of Stirling & District Darts League contested the Zodie Trophy at Allan Bridge Social Club. The format of the tournament was 2 Doubles 701 and 4 singles 501 and if required 1match all 4 players 1001. There were 22 teams of 4 contesting the title. The Allan Bridge foursome won the final against the four lads from the 1314 but had to go to the 1001 play off to finally win the trophy.
